Found 2018

We totaled up last year’s Found Money - this is stuff we find on the ground all year long, and keep in a special jar. $11.52! It’s not a big amount, but it does represent a high number of individual units, 225 separate pieces.

That’s a rate of 0.62 pieces per day, our second highest rate yet. We never go out of our way to look for found money, but a high rate of finding means we’re doing a lot of walking, and usually walking around places with a lot of people and commerce - cities! I find high rates of finding correlate to interesting ways to spend our time as a family, so I like to see that number go up.
