Baijiu Tasting Event

Recently I convinced the higher-ups at Brand New Box to do a Baijiu Tasting Event, cosponsored with BaijiuReview.com. It was great!

I made a slide presentation about baijiu - what it is, how it’s made, the major flavor categories - and set up a tasting sampler for the crew. They were good sports about it, and a couple people actually made interested noises and semi-positive comments (like: “I would like drinking this if I didn’t have to smell it”). We ordered a bunch of Chinese food to go with it, and filled out tasting scorecards as we went.

I obviously like an excuse to get nerdy and make a slideshow presentation - I’m available to repeat this process for others! :)
